Locum Community Liaison Assistant (2), 1 (Gulu), 1 (Soroti)

Main Purpose of the Job: To facilitate communication and collaboration between the project team and the community. This includes engaging with community members, leaders, and stakeholders to gather feedback, disseminate information about project activities, and address community concerns. The Locum Community Liaison Assistant will also support community mobilization efforts and assists in organizing community events and meetings related to the project.

  • Baseline community KAP survey on TEP conducted.
  • Community engagement activities, including meetings, workshops, and awareness campaigns organized.
  • Outreach activities to raise awareness about TEP objectives, activities, and services among community members conducted.
  • Effective communication and dialogue between project staff, community leaders, and beneficiaries ensured.
  • Community members mobilized to participate in TEP activities, such as trainings, focus group discussions, and surveys
  • Information, support, and referrals to community members seeking assistance or services related to the project provided.
  • Feedback and suggestions from community members collected to inform project planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Community feedback, concerns, and achievements documented through case studies, success stories, and other qualitative data collection methods
  • Coordinate with local partners, stakeholders, and organizations to leverage resources and maximize community impact
  • Community perceptions, attitudes, and behaviors related to project goals and objectives monitored and reported on.

Communication materials, such as flyers, posters, and radio announcements developed and disseminated.
